Rainstorm wins the 2010
WA Civil Contractors Federation
Earth Award.
At a gala event held at Burswood Convention Centre on Friday 6th August 2010. Rainstorm and its sister company Sunhawk jointly won the prestigious WA "CCF Earth Award" for their work on the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline Project. Rainstorm/Sunhawk utilised their renowned Gluon product in conjunction with their helicopter bucket and were able to stabilise and rejuvenate inaccessible areas and achieve outstanding operational and environmental success.
The award proves that Rainstorm not only provides products that work, but also provides service and application solutions even under very difficult conditions. The DBNGP Project in the remote Gascoyne region of WA required more than straightforward dust suppression, but instead required a full-blown rejuvenation and native revegetation solution. All at Rainstorm and Sunhawk are pleased that their products, equipment and 'know-how' came all together to provide an important client with the spectacular results they desired on this major project.
